Sean M. O’Pry is an avid conductor and musician moving to Grand Rapids, MI.

 

Sean M. O’Pry is the Band Director at Comstock Park Public Schools. Prior to Comstock Park, O’Pry served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Greenwood School of Music at Oklahoma State University.

Before his time at OSU, he held an interim appointment as the Director of Athletic Bands at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) where he directed the Sound of Today Marching Band, the Technical Fowls Pep Band, and the Symphonic and Concert Bands. He also served as the instructor of record for music theory and conducting courses within the Department of Music. Preceding ULM, O’Pry directed the Rail Splitter Pep Band at Lincoln Memorial University, was the assistant band director at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana, and taught K-8 music in Bell County, Kentucky.

Sean M. O’Pry holds the Bachelor of Music and Master of Education degrees from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from Oklahoma State University.
